Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana: All You Need to Know

The Chief Minister of Haryana announced the “Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi” Yojana to provide financial and social security cover to the families of farmers and those of unorganised workers.

Eligibility Criteria

The scheme is for farmers of the state cultivating up to 5 acres of land and families having monthly income below Rs. 15,000.


Under the scheme, all the eligible beneficiary family will receive financial assistance (Rs. 6,000 every year). However, each family will have to nominate a member to avail of the scheme benefit.

Categories Under Parivar Samman Nidhi

The scheme is divided into two categories these are

  1. The beneficiary under the age group of 18 to 40 years.
  2. The beneficiary under the age group of 40 to 60 years.

First Category

Under this category, there are four options available.

Option 1: The families will get Rs. 6,000 per year and the amount will be deposited in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 in the bank account of HOF (head of the family).

Option 2: A family has to nominate a member and the nominated person will get Rs. 36,000 after completion of five years.

Option 3: The nominated person will get a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month after reaching the age of 60 years (depends upon the age of the beneficiary at the start of the scheme)

Option 4: The nominated recipient will receive Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000 after five years

Second Category

Under this category, there are two options available.

Option 1: The nominated beneficiary of the age group between 40 to 60 years will receive Rs. 6,000 every year, and the money will be deposited in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 in the bank account.

Option 2: After five years, the nominated beneficiary will receive Rs. 36,000.

Avail Insurance & Pension

The nominated beneficiary can also avail insurance cover under the Parivar Samman Nidhi scheme. The scheme includes insurance of upto Rs. 2 lakh. Also, if the nominated beneficiary is also covered under the PMSYM scheme, then the beneficiary would be eligible for a pension of Rs. 3,000 per month after attaining the age of 60 years.

Mukhyamantri Parivar Samman Nidhi Registration & Apply Procedure

Currently, there is no information regarding the registration process. The government will soon announce the complete application procedure such as how an eligible beneficiary can select a category or how the Parivar Samman Nidhi beneficiary list will be prepared.

However, the government also announced that they are preparing a database of 54 lakh families covering the population of more than 2.5 crores. After completion of data collection, a Parivar Pehchan Patra will also be provided to the eligible families. Using this Pehchan Patra, they can avail different welfare services including Parivar Samman Nidhi Yojana.
